October 20 , 2009 Social media sites top HItwise Canada rankings Canadians have social media on the mind according to this week’s list of the top ten most searched terms put out by Hitwise Canada. In fact, eight of the top ten most searched terms for the 12 weeks ending October fall into the social networking category. Popular networking site Facebook appears on the list four times with video sharing site YouTube following close behind with three appearances on the list. Dating site Plenty of Fish also made the top ten as did Yahoo! And Kijiji.
