January 5 , 2010 Hitwise Canada rankes top ten travel websites Most of Canada got a real blast of winter this weekend, which apparently has many people dreaming of warmer climates. Hitwise Canada has been tracking the most searched travel websites for the past few weeks and it the results show that online Canadians are checking out travel options. Leading the list, with almost 12% of visits is Google Maps Canada followed by Google Maps. Air Canada was the top searched airline with WestJet also making the list. Online travel agents Expedia Canada, Trip Advisor, itravel2000 and Flight Network all show up on the list as does loyalty company Air Miles Canada. Here is the complete top ten list:
