Charity gets a piece of the mobile landscape
CBCF launches new iPhone application

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the first bilingual iPhone App in the Canadian charity landscape.

"The Foundation is delighted to offer our supporters this easy to use, purpose-built App that will provide the latest breast cancer and Foundation-related information, a convenient way to donate and to connect with our thriving online community. We encourage all Canadians who have been touched by breast cancer to connect with us through this free application," says Victoria Mackinlay, Manager Marketing & Communications at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

The application offers users:

  • The ability to catch-up on the latest Foundation news and events in both official languages
  • Direct and fast access to our online communities including Finding Hope Blog, Facebook and Twitter
  • The ability to register for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and check fundraising progress
  • Ease of making donations
  • The latest downloads from the Foundation sent to your phone

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation worked in partnership with Brawersoft who worked pro bono to develop this App which can be downloaded free of charge at: http://itunes.com/apps/cbcf
